I am a customer; how do I receive recycling boxes?
Please contact your authorized Kyocera or Copystar dealer to receive boxes. If you need help locating their contact information, it is typically located on a sticker or plaque on your device.
How do I register my customers?
You must be an authorized dealer of Kyocera and/or Copystar products to register for the program. You cannot register your customers directly. Once you‘ve registered using your Regular Dealer Account Number and Authorized Ship-To Address, you can order boxes, which will be sent to your Authorized Ship-To Address, and then you can distribute the boxes to your customers.
How many box kits can I order?
Each dealer is allowed to order up to 5 box kits per order (1 kit = 3 boxes, 3 plastic liners, & 3 zip ties), with a maximum of 15 box kits per month, per Authorized Ship-To Address.
Can box kits be delivered to a P.O. box?
No, box kits cannot be delivered to P.O. Boxes. Box kits will only be delivered to the Authorized Ship-To Address associated with your Regular Dealer Account Number and ECO footPRINT Customer ID.
How many boxes are in each kit?
Each box kit contains 3 boxes, 3 plastic liners, and 3 zip ties.
How big are the recycling boxes?
The dimensions are 13” x 13” x 30” when assembled.
How many containers can one recycling box hold?
A box can hold approximately 10-15 toner and waste containers, depending on the model.
What can be recycled in the ECO footPRINT recycling box?
All Kyocera toner containers, bottles, and cartridges can be recycled through this program. Please do not include any packaging materials in the boxes.
Can new toner packaging be recycled in the box?
No. The ECO footPRINT recycling boxes are meant only for recycling empty and waste toner containers. Packaging can be recycled in your regular recycling bins. Be sure to check with your municipality if you are unsure of what is accepted.
Can other brands be recycled in the ECO footPRINT recycling box?
The ECO footPRINT Recycling box is intended only for recycling Kyocera toner and waste containers. Please check with those respective manufacturers regarding their recycling programs.
How do I assemble the box?
Fold the bottom flaps down and seal with packing tape. Keep the top flaps upright and open. Put the plastic liner in the box and fold the sides over the flaps to secure the liner in the box.
My customer lost their plastic liners. What should they do?
They can simply line the box with a trash bag, this will keep excess toner from spilling out of the box during transit.
How do boxes get shipped back for recycling?
Notify your customers that there is a pre-paid shipping label attached to the box.
Once the box is full, your customer can contact the courier for pickup. Of course, if your customer has a regular pickup with that courier, they can give the filled box to their driver.
